Terms And Conditions

The following terms and conditions establish the agreement between you and Lingfield Airport Minicabs. Your booking of a taxi and utilization of our service signifies your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

Definitions

In this agreement, "Lingfield Airport Minicabs," "we," or "us" refers to the service-providing company, while "you" and "your" may denote any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

Booking

2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey, particularly for airport transfers where timely check-in is crucial. Lingfield Airport Minicabs is not liable for any delays resulting from your failure to allocate ample time or your unpreparedness at the designated pickup time.

2.2 You are responsible for selecting a car of suitable size for all passengers and luggage. Lingfield Airport Minicabs does not guarantee the accommodation of excessive luggage. Please note that, regardless of age, a child is considered a single passenger.

2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made at the time of booking.

Prices & Payment

3.1 Our quotations are based on information provided by you. Prices, unless otherwise stated, are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged separately if applicable. We reserve the right to modify the provided quote in the event of significant changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any waiting period beyond this will be charged at the standard Lingfield Airport Minicabs waiting rate. While we strive to accommodate delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review and ensure the accuracy of this confirmation. Failure to notify Lingfield Airport Minicabs of any discrepancies relieves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.

3.4 Payments can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.

The Service

4.1 You are accountable for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. Charges may be applied for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact caused by passengers.

4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not permitted in the car.

4.3 All children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.

4.4 The number of passengers carried must comply with licensing or insurance regulations.

Cancellations

5.1 Promptly inform Lingfield Airport Minicabs if you need to cancel your booking. Cancellation after dispatch may incur a charge based on the distance covered by the driver.

5.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may result in a charge to the original payment.

Liability

6.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, Lingfield Airport Minicabs is not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. We bear no responsibility for losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Your luggage is transported at your own risk.

6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative vehicle promptly.

6.4 You indemnify Lingfield Airport Minicabs against expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from any act or omission by anyone in your party.

6.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or reject a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is endangered by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

Miscellaneous

8.1 Lingfield Airport Minicabs may subcontract obligations as outlined in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any obligations or rights under this agreement.

8.2 We may modify the terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Regularly review these terms to stay informed of changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.

8.3 Information is stored, used, and processed following the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Lingfield Airport Minicabs and yourself.

8.5 No provision in these terms and conditions is intended to confer benefits to a third party. Third parties have no right to enforce rights under this agreement unless agreed upon in writing.

Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date; claims made after this timeframe will not be entertained by Lingfield Airport Minicabs.
